SISGA's closing event
The Gala Brunch at the International Hall of Gala Ciders is SISGA's closing event and one of its most special occasions. It brings together producers, the international jury, institutional representatives, organisers, guests and people connected with cider culture for a final gathering of recognition and celebration.
The SISGA Awards ceremony takes place during the Brunch, revealing the ciders distinguished by the International Jury. It is the moment when participating cider houses and producers receive public recognition for the quality, diversity and character of the ciders presented at the Hall.
The gastronomic experience costs €75 per person and places are limited, so advance booking is required until capacity is reached. Each course will be paired with different international ciders, combining Asturian gastronomy, high-quality cuisine and SISGA's remarkable cider diversity.
In-person cidery participation: one place is included for the registered representative. Additional guests cost €75 per person and require advance booking.
The Brunch will be held at Restaurante Finca El Duque in Castiello, Xixón. Founded in 1977, the restaurant received the 2016 Plato de Oro de la Gastronomía Nacional award.
Alongside the Awards, the event includes an address by the President of Fundación Asturies XXI, recognition of SISGA Ambassadors and the appointment of new ambassadors, formally closing the 2026 edition.
