Join the International Hall of Gala Ciders and experience an international cider event from the inside.
SISGA 2026 welcomes adult volunteers who would like to support the event from 24 to 27 September, with activities in Xixón, Villaviciosa and Nava.
Volunteers are fundamental to welcoming producers, the international jury, guests and visitors, and to the event’s open, cultural and participatory character.
Volunteering offers direct contact with producers from different countries and contributes to the international profile of Xixón and Asturies as a leading cider region.
Welcome, documents and initial guidance.
Times, venues, access, tastings and general guidance.
Access, stands, visitor flow, guided tastings and pairings.
Practical support, locations and coordination.
Talks, round tables, visits and professional events.
Photography, video, social media, press and documentation.
Set-up, signage, materials and schedule support.
Any adult interested in cider culture, events, communication, public service, languages, gastronomy, cultural tourism or international cooperation.
Languages, reliability, punctuality, teamwork and previous experience are especially valued. Specialist cider knowledge is not required.
You do not need to attend every day. The greatest need for visitor support will be Saturday 26 at the Salón Asturias in the Luis Adaro Exhibition Centre.
