Participate in SISGA’26 as a cider producer

SISGA’26 allows cider makers to enter ciders in the international competition through either in-person or remote participation. Both options are eligible for the SISGA Awards and are assessed by the International Jury through blind tasting.

Two ways to take part

IN-PERSON

For cider houses attending SISGA and taking part in the hall in person.

  • Entry in the international competition.
  • Contact with producers, professionals and the press.
  • Mandatory participation of one company representative in the International Jury, where applicable.
  • Open Public Tasting, traditional espicha and Gala Brunch (one place included for the representative; additional guests: €75), as set out in the participation terms.
  • Accommodation and official meals when included in the confirmed participation terms.

REMOTE

For cider houses entering only the SISGA Awards by sending samples.

  • Samples may be sent without attending in person.
  • Entry in the competition and eligibility for awards.
  • Samples must arrive by the stated deadline.
  • Transport, customs and import procedures are the participant’s responsibility.

The quantities depend on the selected participation option.

In-person participation

In-person samples

  • 12 bottles of 75 cl of each cider or perry.
  • 6 bottles of 75 cl of each ice cider or fire cider.
  • 4 bottles of 75 cl of each cider spirit or cider liqueur.
  • 10 small bottles or cans of 33 cl or less.
  • In addition, enough cider for tasting and sale at the Open Public Tasting.

Remote participation

Remote samples

  • 5 bottles of 75 cl of each cider or perry.
  • 3 bottles of 75 cl of each ice cider or fire cider.
  • 2 bottles of 75 cl of each cider spirit or cider liqueur.
  • 10 small bottles or cans of 33 cl or less.

Categories

International Jury and blind tasting

The International Jury is formed by representatives of the participating cider houses and the technical coordination team. Ciders are assessed by category through blind tasting.

Distinctions

Premium · Gold · Silver · Bronze.

Transport, customs and imports

Samples must arrive by the deadline. The organisation is not responsible for customs procedures, taxes, duties, import costs or related incidents.

Accompanying persons

Accompanying person sharing a double room with the remaining services included: €270. Pay by bank transfer to Fundación Asturies XXI, IBAN ES86 3007 0100 132088603820, reference “16 SISGA” and the cidery name.
